Lukoil’s oil spill damage to soil to exceed 100 mln rbl
ZAVIDOVO (Tver Region), Aug 26 (PRIME) -- Damage to the soil from an oil spill in Komi on Lukoil’s pipeline will exceed 100 million rubles, Svetlana Radionova, head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources, said on Thursday.
“We are still counting the losses caused by oil damage to the soil. They will be lower than the ones caused by the polluted water, but still more than 100 million rubles,” Radionova said.
In June, the service estimated preliminary water damage at 314 million rubles.
